MY NAME IS CHERI WONG - COSTUME DESIGNER, FASHION STYLIST, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, AND THE VISIONARY BEHIND CHERIÊVE, WHERE ELEGANCE DREAMS.
MY CREATIVE JOURNEY BEGAN LONG BEFORE I EVER STEPPED INTO A THEATRE OR DESIGN STUDIO. I GREW UP SURROUNDED BY STORIES, CULTURE, AND PEOPLE- WHOSE LIVES INSPIRED TRANSFORMATION. CLOTHING BECAME MY LANGUAGE - THE WAY I EXPRESS IDENTITY, EMOTION, AND POWER. I LEARNED EARLY THAT FASHION IS NEVER JUST FABRIC; IT’S STORYTELLING, PSYCHOLOGY, AND CONNECTION.
OVER THE YEARS, I BLENDED MY ACADEMIC BACKGROUND, LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE, AND ARTISTIC INSTINCTS INTO A SINGLE PATH: DESIGNING CHARACTERS, CURATING STYLE, AND HELPING PEOPLE EXPRESS WHO THEY ARE. WHETHER I’M Costuming A FULL-SCALE MUSICAL, STYLING TALENT FOR FILM OR TV, OR CRAFTING EDITORIAL CONCEPTS - MY WORK CELEBRATES INDIVIDUALITY, NARRATIVE, AND THE MAGIC OF REINVENTION.
